tolong laaa kawan2... aku dah fikir sampai tahap cair taik telinga dah.. meleleh air mata darah dah.. kalo korang semua suka tengok tv time kecik2 dulu.. ada satu drama tv jepun.. satu zaman dengan oshin dan moero attack.. tapi drama ni cerita pasal ninja.. hero dia nama sisuka or sasuka or something... time lagu intro dia gigit pisau pastu lompat dari pokok ke pokok(dia bukan monyet, penerajang nak???)... pastu.. ada satu awek yg lengkap berkimono... bleh pusing rambut dia yg panjang macam helikopter untuk lawan ngan orang jahat... pastu ada satu mamat gemuk... errghhhhhhh!!!! aku dah try kat google ngan youtube dengan pelbagai keyword dah.. dah korek segala pelusuk dunia siber ni... tak jumpa2 jugak... kalo bleh dapatkan title cerita tu ke... wikipedia entry ke.. official site ke.. apa2 lah... i'd really appreciate it!!!

angkasa.. di atas dan di sebaliknya..

(ala2 space, above & beyond) xD muhahahaha

kalau satu hari nanti.. kita berjaya mencapai impian ke angkasa. adakah manusia akan hanya digelar manusia? tiada lagi berbilang kaum dan bangsa untuk kita saling mengenali? kalu kita perhatikan, kebanyakan filem2 atau siri tv sains fiksyen. manusia hanya diwakilkan oleh dua; hitam dan putih. mana pergi kuning, coklat, sawo matang, kelabu asap dan lain lain? semakin kita progress in time, semakin banyak bahasa yang hilang.. (atau language decay) semakin banyak adat budaya yg ditelan zaman.(dilupakan atau ditolak sebagai ridiculous) apakah bezanya si Ali Othman dan si Alan Richardson? (nama random) tiada beza? sama saja.. manusia? bukankah mereka adalah wakil budaya dan bahasa mereka?

kembali kepada cerita2 sains fiksyen, aku sangat memahami bahawa dalam pembikinan filem dan siri tv, mereka mempunyai budget yang terhad untuk meletakkan wakil dari setiap suku di dunia ni. aku bukan argue benda alah tu. mari kita merenung jauh ke depan sedikit. for humankind to move to the next stage, space, ramai yang bernanggapan bahawa manusia di muka bumi ini perlu bersatu terlebih dahulu. menjadi satu entiti. dan apabila kita menjadi satu entiti, ke manakah perginya identiti kita? adakah kita semua akan mempunyai satu bahasa sahaja? satu budaya sahaja? lebih senang begitu bukan.. sebab nanti kalo kita jumpa Klingon atau Twi'Lek.. mereka senang me'refer kita as human je.. bukan brown human.. atau white human.. (semata-mata physical variation laaa...)

owwhh... lagi satu.. banyak betul alien2 belajar cakap omputih kan? bagus arr camni.. aku bleh cari makan laaa nanti.. pindah ke Tatooine, pergi skolah naik Bantha dan mengajar budak2 sand people cakap omputih.. =D maaf ye kawan2... aku O.D. main Spore dan tengok space operas.

well.. lately i've been busy a bit. not because of raya. im staying home, alone, for raya anyway (yeahh sad.. but whatever..). im currently occupied in assembling this baby.. here.. =D it's a Messiah Valkrie VF-25S Ozma Lee Custom, one of the unit from Macross Frontier. yeap.. a descendant from our 90s cartoon Macross/Robotech that we used to watch when we were kids. i've been collecting some 'big boys' toys' for quite sometime. dont worry, im not that obsessed about it.. this one deserves a post because it's very nostalgic.. reminds me of my childhood watching the anime.. =D owwhh.. assembling this would take 2-3 more days (since im taking it slow and easy..) later i'll be off to my friend's house.. for a BBQ.. so i'll be back when im done with both.. xD nghehehe

What the movie Twilight really needs...

1- a fair share of violence.. WTF, u're makin a story bout bloodsuckers.. things shouldn't be that nice and all mushy-mushy. u're making even the nicest of vampires like angel, spike and buffy the vampire slayer laugh their ass off.

2- a decent CG animators cuz they don't even have a decent one. the CGs are like something people did with the 'Lois & Clark: The new adventures of superman' back in the 90s.. for god's sake... do something about it..

3- don't be ashamed of getting a stuntman to do the stunts.. especially things involved with cables and what not. can people even call that, fighting??

here's an example of a good vampire movie... well it's an anime actually.. you can have the love element.. but please.. do it right.. =D

berfikir sejenak..

kadangkala... aku pun terfikir, adakah konsep 'ke-tuanan' melayu mempunya persamaan dengan konsep white-supremacy yang dipromote oleh ku klux klan (KKK) di america dulu. tolonglah jangan biar ia jadi macam tu.. lately, dengan macam2 isu haram itu haram ini bertikam lidah dengan human rights' activist.. aku harap ianya takkan melarat lah... chill dan dok diam2 sudahh.. orang-orang kat malaysia ni dah tak reti chill ke?? are u with me??

akar, barat dan persepsi..

ada satu persoalan yg terngiang-ngiang dalam kepala otak aku ni.. benda yang aku rasa sangat pelik walaupun... cam ada gak laa explanation2 dari orang tentang fenomena ini. time tu aku tgh layan guitar hero 3 ngan si ikram, layan sangap balik dari hantar assignment kelas master. singgah laa rumah si ikki wikki tu.. time tengah sparring ngan dia lagu Paradise City, dendangan Guns n' Roses.. ikki started singing the song in malay and he goes.. "selamat datang ke bandar syurga.. dimana rumput nya kehijauan dan gadis2nya molek2 belaka.. owh.. awak.. tolonglah bawa aku pulang?". persoalannya di sini.. kenapa kalo kita translate lagu english to malay(atau mana2 bahasa mungkin..), bunyi nya would be soooo wrong??

apakah kurangnya?? dan di manakah silapnya?? kita memperkatakan tentang benda yang sama... tapi bila it's in malay... dah bunyi semacam.. dah tak 'cool' dah. adakah ini kerana effect 'pandang ke barat'? mentaliti kita yang selalu anggap, apa2 yang mat salleh buat.. semua best dan cool.. mentaliti kita yang anggap.. apa2 yang 'local' semuanya tak best dan tak berkualiti. kalo seorang lelaki bermuka malaysia masuk, kita pandang sebelah mata.. tapi bila seorang muka mat salleh(atau busuk2 mix mat salleh) kita pandang dia cam 'up' sket.. aku bukan nak promote semangat ke'tuan'an melayu(or keMALAYSIAan) pun... just pelik dengan benda ni.. ukuran individu bukan pada berapa hampir kau ngan mat salleh(make it rupa, preference, lifestyle or even rakan taulan kamu).

kalau kita perhatikan dengan lebih teliti.. element pandang barat(atau mana2 mat salleh) ni agak clear gak laaaa.. contoh?? nak ke?? korang tengok sekeliling korang lah.. mak cik minah(nama yang random..) yg rumah selang 3 lorong dari sini tu.. bangga gila anak dia kawen ngan mat salleh. menajaja cerita ke hulu ke hilir. kalau kita ternampak opposite sex yang mix sket... commonly(yg loser je la..) akan cakap.. "uih.. ni high maintenance ni.. out of my league". apsal? dia mix dia makan lebih sket ke?? league mana ni?? liga M dan english premier league ke?? =p talking bout football. mungkin ni sebab akibat negara kita pernah dijajah british kot.. by default, kita akan obsess ngan english premier league.. team kegemaran.. secara default juga adalah manchester united. pasukan yang disokong time world cup dan euro.. mestilah by default england. bila 'kita' celik sket.. baru start sokong pasukan la liga atau serie A. sebab brazil banyak menang dan probability untuk diorang menang tinggi.. 'kita' jump in the bandwagon. and for the sake of variety.. start rooting for other clubs and underdogs. itulah betapa kuatnya dasar 'pandang ke barat' ni terhadap us malaysian.

kenapa kita takleh nak bangga ngan roots kita? aku melayu.. aku bangga ngan roots aku.. music pilihan.. keroncong, joget, dan bersyair... kau chinese, mestilah kau layan gak bunyian erhu dan opera yg pasang stage mobile overnite tu eventhough nama kau dah tukar jadi alfred atau joanna. kau indian.. mesti laa ko layan bunyi bunyian tabla yang mengasyikkan.. kau kadazan.. bidayuh.. atau mungkin iban.. mana2 sub ethnic dayak di borneo sana... mesti laa kau pun layan bunyi bunyian sapek dan agung or kulintang ensemble gak kan?? dan bila ada orang cuba mengetengahkan music roots kita ni dalam bunyi-bunyian modern, yang 'sempit' akan cakap kita merosakkan tradisi kita. yang 'luas' plak.. akan cakap.. kita takde modal dan guna benda yang dah ada je... ada gak laa several artist kita yang guna element2 ni.. tapi masalahnya mereka tak treat it with respect. just amik satu part dan loop2 kan je.. takde pengisian.. takde reference yang utuh.. takde synthesis yang betul (atau at least usaha for it..) just sumbat je part dari lagu2 tu sebab malas nak tulis chorus.

aku harap satu hari nanti aku dapat menyanyi lagu womanizer dendangan britney spears dalam bahasa melayu tanpa ada orang pandang slack aku atau gelak guling2 atas lantai lah.. i'd go "kaki perempuan, kaki-kaki perempuan oh... kaki perempuan oh... kau tu kaki perempuan. kau.. kau kau tu.. kau.. kau kau tu.. kaki perempuan x3!" =p

Fashion police?

I don't know bout what other people(you) think but for me.. when you're out to have fun.. there's absolutely no need to overdress. Yeaa yeaaa... nowadays we have all the 'metro' guys.. 'uber' man.. modern hipsters... and the list goes on and on and on.. and sometimes, these people go to the borderline of their sexuality or sometimes just plain absurd. with the internet pumping the fashion veins locally, we cant expect to wear what people over the 'colder' hemisphere is wearing right? if your're wearing it at night, it's still tolerable. but if u're wearing a scarf on broad daylight under the burning sun.. it makes you wonder whether he had screwed his weather sense. or he has lost his affinity to temperature.

over in my working place, people go gaga over fashion. students go to classes like going to a prom/rave party/club/rock concert (choose an appropriate occasion suiting to your personality). i dont really mind actually.. it's nice to see something new and different everyday. however it crosses the line when u see a guy with full white tux under the scorching sun. pretending that it's not burning his ass off for the sake of style. well that's the extreme example lah.. im not saying that im that innocent as well. u can also see me wearing a black sweatshirt over a shirt at noon as well.. but it's due to the nature that i must wear something black and if i didn't do that, i don't know when will i have the chance to wear all my colored shirts. so, pardon me lah ye?? =D

the not so extreme ones would be the color combination. sometimes, the combination makes you go WTF!!?? imagine spandex blue, with bright florescent yellow top and covered with a 'lacoste' green vest and a bright purple bag. it defies all logic! simply intolerable... a sin to my eyes. usually, i'd be getting these violation from girls... now men are also into this 'defy coloring conventions' posse. yeaa... yeaa... i know lah you're indie... you laaa hipsters... but when men started wearing yellow pants.. it makes you wonder for a while (btw.. you're not Hailey from Paramore.. u cant pull that one off. DEAL WITH IT!!).

as for exposure.. i don't really care bout how much skin you're showing to the world. it's your body, your temple, your 'wonderland'.. so you decide yourself. if you're talking bout preference, i'd say the principle 'buka atas bawah tutup, buka bawah atas tutup' would apply (credit to ladyesah =D). if you're wearing something short up and down.. somehow.. it'll look cheap (just my opinion). i once dated a girl and she wore a small tube for top and a very short skirt and nothing more.. and i was like.. "WTF!!?? i'm going out for a date, im nowhere near the red light district!!" (no offenses please, girls.. my preference.. not your future bf's xD). what really turns me on would be something more subtle.. something suggestive.. off shoulders perhaps.. something like this...

as for men.. you can never go wrong with a t-shirt and a pair of jeans. well... if u're the experimental type, go ahead.. just dont end up looking like a clown with all the bright mismatched colors or end up looking gay(not the happy one... the sexual one!). preference? a nice ol' printed t-shirt works well for me.. something like these:-
