Cuba kau fikirkan...

Born and raised...

What's there to say? they're simply superb! =D

All blossoms die in the light of our new culture
Find your belief in that which cannot be discovered
Countless lessons lie in every fever dream
A million voices asking, what does it all mean?

I’ve lost all direction
I’ve lost all my direction
And now I wish, that I would have believed
Could have believed

Escape, escape
Nature’s indifferent hand
Retreat, retreat
To the bliss of our creation

We were born and raised
To live beyond
The heft and weight of a world undone
Like a bird from the north
Our hearts will roam in search of warmth

Two hands come together to pray for greater yields
Two poles of a compass guided by a field
In the mind of every man, two ghosts dance
Was this place made, or was it here by chance?
I’ve lost all direction
I’ve lost all my direction
And now I wish, that I would have believed
Could have believed

Escape, escape
Nature’s indifferent hand
Retreat, retreat
To the bliss of our creation

We were born and raised
To live beyond
The heft and weight of a world undone
Like a bird from the north
Our hearts will roam in search of warmth

Uncountable numbers written in new fallen snow
I can hear the claws of the beast tapping at my window
Nihilist sleeps and in dreams he sees god’s face
Realize even disbelief requires a leap of faith
From birth to death, we search for what’s yet to be known
We and hope and pray and ask, but we are never shown

Born and raised to live beyond
The heft and weight of a world undone
Like a bird from the north
Our hearts will roam in search of warmth

We were born and raised

Dressed for the occasion..

somewhere, sometime in the future.. i would wanna try and move abroad to work or perhaps do my PHD (permanent head damage!! oh YES!). what i have in mind would be places that are interesting, cultured.. yada yada yada.. but the most important one would be, something colder than malaysia.. and yet not too cold for me to do this..

yeap, i wanna be clad in full suit and still be able to cycle my bike here and there without sweating like a pig. malaysian weather is the enemy here. (dont take it the wrong way, i love malaysian weather.. just not for this purpose =p) walking in a suit under the scorching sun will already be an issue, imagine cycling in it. fingers crossed.. hopefully, i'll be able to achieve this and europe would be the best destination. cycle a nice fixie to work, lunch, to stadium.. omg.. it's 'cyclasm'!

*edit

semestinya kalau aku nak cycle pun.. bukannya basikal camni lah.. ape daa wan.. apa barang basikal tua... kalo aku nak kayuh, aku beli basikal ni...

It's just the way it is...

"maybe i know somewhere deep in my soul that love never lasts
and we've got to find other ways to make it alone
keep a straight face. and i've always lived like this, keeping a comfortable distance
and up until now i had sworn to myself that I'm content with loneliness
because none of it was ever worth the risk"

and in my case.. there are no exceptions!

5 bukit, 55km.. 5 jam!

Pagoh, Muar! kitaorang berlima memang dah tak asing ngan aktiviti kayuh mengayuh ni, and to challenge ourself, kitaorang masuk lerr jamboree Pagoh 55 km ni.sampai2 jerr kat pagoh, kitaorang gi register and then lepak kat kopitiam cina ni... memang kopitiam original arr.. siap ada anjing melepet kat sebelah meminta untuk dibelai manja =D event bermula pukul 8.30am dengan 700+ peserta.as it turned out, 55km was quite a challenge gak arr... 55km jalan off road, lalu kebun ladang semua.. hutan.. dengan 5 bukit yang pr0minent perlu dipanjat. 30km pertama was quite okay for me, tapi bila dah start masuk 30+, memang terasa laa babe... panjat bukit memang menolak laa.. and the only time aku bleh enjoy adalah time downhill yang panjang2 tu. ramai yang give up gak.. dan ada gak yg injured.. mereka semua tu dibawa balik ngan lori
sampai saja digarisan penamat.. puas ati babe.. puas ati sebab aku dah berjaya finish such a difficult race. endurance kaw2.. 5 bukit, 55km... 5 jam! puas ati!
(the only gambar yang aku jumpa ada aku.. yeap sibuk berkayuh sampai tak sempat nak pose-pose)

Singfest 2010...

luckily, i somehow managed to get my ass down to singapore for singfest. coheed's concert alone wasn't enough and i just HAVE to go down and watch 30seconds to mars and smashin' pumpkins with my own eye, right in front of my nose. the journey was a fun one indeed, accompanied by loyal friends. and yes, i'd be attending singfest 2011 for sure =D

at one time they were Hail the villains

and at another, he turned into Hail the King Kong!

Ian Brown with his tae bo/easy jog dance with a tamborine in hand
