The difference between medicine and poison is in the dose..

i cant stop thinking bout it. yes, it's a ringing in my head that just wont go away. often when we do something, we are asked to do it passionately, full heartedly, give it all you got, show some guts, make the best in everything, all out, gung ho.. etc etc etc..

people associates hardwork with rewards. you'll get what you deserve. but is that always true? of course not, whenever we put 'always' in a sentence, we know that it's a lie. the world is ever-changing and things can never be 'always' the same. do we really get what we deserve for our effort? if you're talking about it directly.. NO! we dont get what we deserve as simple as '1 + 1 = 2'. not as easy as 'like + effort = in love'. the equation is more complicated than that.

ultimately, we'll get what we deserve, god bless you, but in life.. right now.. we must resign to what fate would grant us. dont be too obsessed with your reward. sometimes your effort might end up with nothing when you wanted everything, but at least you could be grateful for something. right? im not asking you to be too laid back about life, to not have the resolve and all. but in certain area where things are grey and murky, put one feet down first before diving to the unknown.

im a straight-forward kind of guy, so i know what happens when u just dive right in.. things can be.. 'complicated'.. for you and the people around you. but then again, who am i to tell you what to do with your life? just acknowledge this, too much of anything can be bad. too much effort, too much attention could lead to dissapointments. even too much love could be poison.. the trick is to get the ammount just right. enough to get you what you want.. but not too much to leave you flat on the ground.

yeahh.. i know.. life is a gamble, but gamble smart. dont bet all your chips unless you can see a couple of aces. work hard in what you do.. but consciously know that fate is a bitch so that u wont be too depressed when she's making a scene. if you wanna just dive in, regardless.. then have the strength to pull yourself up. yes, im up! tomorrow we'll decide whether to just dive in again or not. =D
